And I Daniel alone saw the vision: for the men that were with me saw not the vision; but a great quaking fell upon them, so that they fled to hide themselves.
Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
