God is always doing something new, even when we're focused on the past.
God asks us a profound question: do we perceive it? Often we're so fixated on old patterns, past hurts, or familiar ways that we miss the new thing God is doing right now. He's making a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert—places where there seems to be no possibility.
For Today
Look for the new thing God is doing in your life today; it may be growing right where you least expect it.
Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to see the new thing You are doing. Help me not to be so bound by the past that I miss the fresh path You're creating. Amen.
