PeaceNo More Tears
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
God promises a future where every source of sorrow will be permanently removed.
In the new creation, God Himself will wipe every tear from our eyes—a tender, personal act from the Almighty. Death, mourning, crying, and pain belong to the old order that is passing away. Christ's first coming initiated this renewal; His second coming will complete it. Until then, we live in the overlap of ages, experiencing both present suffering and future hope.
For Today
When grief or pain feels overwhelming today, lift your eyes to the hope of Christ's return and the promise of eternal comfort.
Prayer
Comforting Father, we long for the day when You wipe every tear away. Until then, help us live in hope of the new creation coming. Amen.
