AdventGod's Love Revealed
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
God's love moved from the abstract to the concrete when He sent His one and only Son.
The incarnation is the ultimate revelation of divine love—not love expressed in words but in costly action. God didn't send an angel or prophet but His one and only Son, demonstrating love's extravagant nature. The purpose was life: that we might live through Him. Apart from Christ, we were spiritually dead; through Him, we receive eternal life.
For Today
Receive God's love today not as a feeling but as a fact demonstrated through the gift of His Son, then live in response to that love.
Prayer
Father, thank You for showing Your love by sending Your one and only Son so we might live through Him. Help us grasp this profound truth. Amen.
