PeaceChrist Our Peace
For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Jesus is not just a peacemaker but is Himself our peace, breaking down every dividing wall.
Christ's work on the cross destroyed the barriers separating Jew and Gentile, slave and free, male and female. He made the two groups one, creating peace not through negotiation but through His own body. The hostility that divided humanity—both from God and from each other—was crucified with Christ. Now in Him, we are one new humanity.
For Today
Seek reconciliation today with someone from whom you're divided, remembering that Christ has made peace possible.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, our peace, thank You for breaking down the dividing walls of hostility through Your body. Make us instruments of Your reconciling peace. Amen.
