He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

To dwell means to remain, to abide, to make our home in God's presence. This is not a quick visit but a permanent residence in His shelter. Under the shadow of the Almighty, we find rest—the kind of rest that comes from complete security and perfect peace. This is where protection begins: choosing to remain in intimate proximity to God.

Most High God, I choose to dwell in Your shelter and rest in Your shadow. Make my home in Your presence where I find perfect protection. Amen.
