A scoffer seeks wisdom but never finds it because their heart is not truly open to truth. However, for the person of understanding, knowledge comes readily. The difference is not intellectual capacity but heart posture—humility versus pride, sincerity versus cynicism.

Examine your heart's attitude toward learning spiritual truth and ask God to remove any cynicism or pride that hinders understanding.

Father, give me a heart of understanding that readily receives wisdom. Remove any scoffing or pride from my spirit. Amen.
