Trust, Not Understanding

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:5

True wisdom recognizes the limits of human understanding and trusts God completely.

Our own understanding, though valuable, is finite and often flawed. God calls us to trust Him with our whole heart, even when circumstances don't make sense. This is not anti-intellectual, but rather acknowledging that God's wisdom transcends our comprehension.

For Today

Identify one area where you have been relying on your own understanding and consciously choose to trust God's wisdom instead.

Prayer

Father, I surrender my limited understanding to You. Help me trust Your infinite wisdom in every circumstance. Amen.
