God's FaithfulnessAll Things for Life
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Peter declares that God's divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through knowing Christ.
We already possess everything necessary for both physical life and spiritual godliness. This provision comes through knowing Jesus and experiencing His power. We don't need to search elsewhere for what makes life work or what enables holy living - it's all found in relationship with Christ and His divine power working in us.
For Today
Instead of seeking external solutions today, draw on the divine power and provision already given to you through knowing Christ.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, Your divine power has already given me everything I need for life and godliness. Help me draw on these resources through knowing You better rather than searching elsewhere for what I already possess in You. Amen.
