Courage

Never Forsaken

Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

Deuteronomy 31:6

· · ·

Moses' final charge to Israel before entering the Promised Land contains a promise that echoes throughout Scripture.

Strength and courage flow from the certainty that God will never leave us or forsake us. This is not wishful thinking but the covenant promise of a faithful God. He goes before us into every unknown, stands beside us in every battle, and remains with us through every trial. His presence is permanent, His commitment unbreakable.

Remember today that you cannot go anywhere that God has not already gone before you, and He will never abandon you there.

Lord, I am strong and courageous because You will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You for Your constant, faithful presence in my life. Amen.
