And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible, and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
Nehemiah rallied discouraged builders with a call to remember the Lord and fight for what matters most.
When opposition mounted and fear spread, Nehemiah didn't minimize the threat—he redirected their focus. Remember the Lord who is great and awesome. Then fight for your families, homes, and communities. Courage comes from remembering who God is and what we're fighting to protect. The battle is worth it when we're defending those we love.
