And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you:

Paul prays that the Thessalonians' love would increase and abound toward one another and all people.
Love is not static—it should grow and overflow increasingly. The Lord causes this increase, expanding our capacity to love both fellow believers and all people. This prayer recognizes that abundant love comes from the Lord's work in our hearts.
