LoveLove Without Conditions
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
God's love is proven not by our worthiness but by Christ's sacrifice while we were still sinners.
Human love often waits for the beloved to become deserving, but God's love is radically different. Christ died for us not after we cleaned up our lives, but while we were still rebels against Him. This demonstrates the unconditional and initiating nature of divine love.

Reflect on someone difficult to love in your life, and ask God to help you love them as Christ loved you—without waiting for them to deserve it.
Prayer
Father, I am humbled that Christ died for me while I was still a sinner. Help me extend that same unconditional love to others, even those who seem undeserving. Amen.
