Gratitude

Enter With Thanksgiving

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalms 100:4

· · ·

The pathway into God's presence is paved with gratitude and praise.

This psalm teaches us that thanksgiving is not just a response to blessing but the proper approach to worship. We enter God's gates with thanksgiving because of who He is, not just what He does. Gratitude prepares our hearts to encounter the living God and reminds us that we come as recipients of grace, not as those demanding rights.

Before your next prayer time, spend five minutes thanking God for His character attributes before making any requests.

Heavenly Father, I enter Your presence with thanksgiving today. Thank You for being good, faithful, and merciful. May my worship always begin with a grateful heart. Amen.
