(ἢ δοκεῖς ὅτι οὐ δύναμαι παρακαλέσαι τὸν πατέρα μου, καὶ παραστήσει μοι ἄρτι πλείω δώδεκα λεγιῶνας ἀγγέλων;)—The rhetorical question expects 'Yes, You could.' The verb δύναμαι ('I am able') affirms Christ's power. He could παρακαλέσαι (invoke, call upon) the Father who would immediately (ἄρτι, arti, 'presently, right now') dispatch πλείω δώδεκα λεγιῶνας ἀγγέλων ('more than twelve legions of angels').
