Deliver Me, O Lord

1 In my distress I cried unto the LORDLord: יְהוָה / אֲדֹנָי (YHWH / Adonai). When 'LORD' appears in small capitals, it represents the Tetragrammaton YHWH (יְהוָה), God's personal covenant name meaning 'I AM.' When 'Lord' appears normally, it's Adonai (אֲדֹנָי), meaning 'my Lord,' emphasizing sovereignty., and he heard me. References Lord: Psalms 18:6, 107:13, 118:5, 122:1, 125:1, 130:1, 131:1, Jonah 2:2. Parallel theme: Psalms 50:15, Hebrews 5:7 +5
