Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
The name Immanuel captures the miracle of the incarnation in two profound words.
Throughout history, God's presence had been mediated through temples, priests, and prophets. But in Christ, God Himself took on human flesh to dwell directly among us. This fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy means we never face life's challenges alone. The virgin birth demonstrates God's power to do the impossible while accomplishing His redemptive plan.
