God's forgiveness brings us from spiritual death to resurrection life and freedom.
We were dead in our sins, completely without hope or ability to free ourselves. But God made us alive with Christ through forgiveness. This is the foundation of our freedom—not our effort, but God's gracious act of bringing us from death to life.
For Today
Thank God specifically for forgiving a particular sin that once held you in bondage.
Prayer
Father, thank You for making me alive with Christ. I was dead in sin, but You have forgiven me and set me free. Amen.
