Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

The prophet declares trust and confidence in God's salvation, resulting in fearlessness. When we truly grasp that God is our strength, we stop relying on our own insufficient power. When we know He is our salvation, we stop trying to save ourselves. This trust produces a song - joy flows from confident faith.
