FaithTroubled Hearts Trust
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
Jesus offers the antidote to a troubled heart: faith in God and faith in Him.
Speaking to His disciples before His crucifixion, Jesus addresses their anxious hearts with a call to trust. He links faith in God the Father with faith in Himself, revealing His divine nature. The remedy for a troubled heart isn't positive thinking but anchoring ourselves in the trustworthiness of God and Christ.
For Today
When your heart is troubled today, speak Jesus' words to yourself: 'Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me.'
Prayer
Lord Jesus, I believe in You and in the Father. Calm my troubled heart and help me rest in Your sovereign care and love. Amen.
