We Shall Be Like Him

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Our future transformation into Christ's likeness is certain, though the full reality remains to be revealed.

We are already God's children, but what we will become has not yet been fully manifested. When Christ appears, we will be transformed to be like Him, seeing Him as He truly is. This hope purifies us even now as we anticipate that glorious day.

For Today

Let the hope of becoming like Christ motivate you to pursue holiness and purity today.

Prayer

Beloved Father, thank You that I am Your child now and will one day see Jesus and be made like Him. Purify my heart as I wait in hope. Amen.
