ResurrectionDeath Swallowed Up
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
Isaiah prophesies the day when death itself will be destroyed forever by God's sovereign power.
God will swallow up death permanently, removing its power and terror. He will wipe away every tear, ending all sorrow and suffering. This prophecy finds its fulfillment in Christ's resurrection and will be fully realized when He returns.

Look forward today to the complete victory over death that God has promised and Jesus has guaranteed.
Prayer
Sovereign Lord, thank You that You will swallow up death forever and wipe away all tears. I long for that day. Amen.
