H1343 in the King James Bible
8 versesFor the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.
Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.
Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.
The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow.
Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.
