The Church Family Shares and Cares

After the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, something amazing started happening in Jerusalem. All the people who believed in Jesus became like one big family! Every single day, they would get together to learn from the apostles. They would listen carefully as the apostles told them stories about Jesus. The believers also prayed together, ate meals together, and remembered Jesus by breaking bread.

Here's one of the most amazing parts: the believers shared everything they had! If someone had two coats and their friend didn't have any, they'd give one away. If a family had extra food, they'd share it with families who were hungry. Some people even sold their houses or land and gave the money to the apostles to help anyone who needed it.

Every day, the believers would go to the temple together to worship God. But they also met in their homes, going from house to house to eat dinner together. They would laugh together, sing songs, pray together, and eat delicious food. Their hearts were full of joy!

The people in Jerusalem who weren't believers yet would watch these Christians and think, 'Wow, they're so happy! They really love each other!' Everyone liked the believers because they could see there was something different and special about them. And every single day, more people wanted to join this wonderful church family! God kept adding new believers because the church was loving God and loving each other so well.
