Everything New Forever!

Then John saw the most wonderful, beautiful thing EVER! God made everything brand NEW! There was a new heaven and a new earth—everything sparkly and perfect!

A beautiful city called New Jerusalem came floating down from heaven. It was like a bride getting ready for her wedding—so pretty and shiny!

Then John heard a LOUD, happy voice from God's throne: 'Look! God is going to live WITH His people! He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. No more crying! No more sadness! No more owies or sickness! No more death! All the bad, sad things are GONE FOREVER!'

God said, 'I am making EVERYTHING NEW!' Doesn't that sound amazing?

An angel showed John the city. WOW! It was huge and made of gold—but gold so clear you could see through it like glass! The city had twelve gates made from giant pearls—one pearl for each gate! The walls sparkled with every color you can imagine—red, blue, green, purple, and more!

There was no sun or moon in the city. Know why? Because God's light shines so bright that it lights up everything! It's never dark there!

A beautiful river flowed right down the middle of the street. It was the river of the water of life, sparkling like diamonds! Next to the river grew a special tree—the tree of life! Remember that tree from the Garden of Eden? It's back! And it has yummy fruit every month.

Best of all, God lives right there with His people! They get to see His face and be with Him forever and ever and ever! They get to worship Him and be happy with no more bad things at all!

Jesus said, 'I'm coming soon! Get ready!'

The Spirit says, 'Come!' The Bride says, 'Come!' Anyone who is thirsty can come and drink the water of life!

John said, 'Yes, please come, Lord Jesus!'

This is the happy ending—but it's really a happy BEGINNING! It's where we'll live forever if we love Jesus. Isn't that the best news ever?
